The craft
A stainless steel base: it does not rust, does not react with skin and takes daily wear far better than soft metals. It is what we choose when a piece is meant to be worn often.
Care
Stainless steel handles water and does not react with skin, which makes it about as forgiving as jewelry gets. Still store it dry and in its own pouch: the colour coating scratches if it rubs against other pieces.
Pearls are organic, so everything above affects them more than the metal. Clean with a soft, barely damp cloth, never by soaking.
