The craft
Miyuki seed beads woven by hand, one at a time, onto a gold-tone base. It is patient work rather than heavy work: the pattern appears from the order the beads go in, which is why no two pieces come out the same.
Care
Beads strung on thread: store it dry and apart, and avoid pulling on it to put it on. Water and soap loosen the weave over time.
